Downtown Greenville offers a wide variety of modern new construction condos as well as pre existing units. In the past few years, there has been a new wave of condo developments in the downtown area. Some of the new developments are listed below.
The Terrace at Riverplace is located just off of Main Street and across from the $13.5 Million River Falls Park on the Reedy River. The Terrace is part of the $65 million RiverPlace mixed use development which includes 155 RiverPlace, RiverHouse, The Terrace, and The Hampton Inn and Suites. The project includes office space, retail space, restaurants, and condos. The Terrace offers stunning views of the downtown Greenville skyline and the Reedy River. RiverPlace also offers underground parking with security card access.
The Bookends development is located in the heart of downtown Greenville South Carolina and offers easy access to parking and Main Street. The building was constructed as part of the new Spring Street parking garage and therefore gets its name “Bookends”. The eight story building consists of 30 premium residential condo units with office space and retail stores at ground level.
155 RiverPlace is part of the RiverPlace development and is nestled between 550 South Main (an 87,000 sq. ft. office and retail building) and The Terrace. 155 RiverPlace consists of 36 residential one and two bedroom units. The condos also feature Greenville’s first underground parking garage with security card access to the elevators and lobby.
The Field House is located in downtown Greenville South Carolina in the West End historic district at the corner of South Main Street and Augusta Road. The building offers 40 residential condos, retail space, office space, and restaurants. The building also overlooks, and has access to the new Greenville Drive Baseball Stadium.
Poinsett Corners is a mixed use development in the heart of Greenville South Carolina located at the corner of Broad Street and River Street. There are 10 commercial units and 81 residential condos, flats, and town homes. The development also features a 300 space parking garage.
The Park Downtown
The Park Downtown is a condo development in the historic district of downtown Greenville SC. It’s located in the North Main area on Park Avenue and close to McPherson Park, Heritage Green, the Greenville Museum of Art, the Little Theatre, and the War Museum.
North Park
The North Park condos are located in the North Main area of Greenville SC at the corner of Bennett St. and Gallivan St. These units offer convenience to the downtown Greenville SC area, North Main Park, and Croft Park.
The Ridgeland at the Park condo development is adjacent to and offers stunning views of the popular downtown Cleveland Park. The new condos are also close to the new McBee Station which includes the new Publix grocery store, Staples, and other retail shops and restaurants.
The Lofts at Mills Mill is a conversion project creating premium luxury lofts units from one of South Carolina’s oldest and well known cotton mills. The original structure was built in 1897 and since being closed was used for retail and restaurant space. The new converted building offers 108 lofts units with access to a community pool, fitness area, a rooftop deck, and a club room.
The Elements condo/town home development is the first EarthCraft and Energy Star certified town home neighborhood in Greenville. The whole idea behind EarthCraft and Energy Star homes is to create an environment for sustainability, energy efficiency, and a healthy lifestyle. The new development also features an outdoor grilling area, picnic area, gazebo, butterfly garden, and personal gardens. The Elements are located on Mohawk Drive in the North Main area and back up to Richland Creek.
The first phase is under construction and should be finished by summer 2008.
